A special benefit, codified in section 203 of the Nicaraguan Law on Adaptation and Assistance to Central America (NACARA), is the right to request a special rule for the lifting of removal [in accordance with the old suspension rules] or the suspension of removal. In addition to members of Class ABC, certain Eastern Europeans are also entitled to discharge within the meaning of Article 203 of the NACARA. If an alien receives relief under Article 203 of NACARA, his or her status is adjusted to the status of lawful permanent resident. This table presents the conditions for the cancellation or suspension of special regimes, the advantages of these forms of discharge compared to the regular removal of distance outside the LPR and the advantages of the exemption provided by NACARA § 203. Registered members of Class ABC who still wish to apply for asylum have the right to do so. .
